Perusahaan Holding Google Digugat Sebesar $2,4 Miliar

Indukan perusahaan raksasa yang ada di A.S (Amerika Serikat) yaitu Alphabet Inc digugat oleh penyedia perbandingan harga Nordic PriceRunner AB sekitar 22 Miliar Krino ($2.4 Billion) di pengadilan pasar dan paten Stockholm.

Diketahui bahwa perusahaan holding Google Alphabet ini berdiri pada tahun 2016, perusahaan ini salah satu holding dan konglomerat bentukan Google. Perusahaan ini menaungi beberapa usaha yang dimiliki oleh atau terpisah dari Google, termasuk Google itu sendiri.

Kesimpulan gugatan dari keputusan hukum di UE (Uni Eropa) yang menetapkan Google telah melanggar undang-undang antimonopoli dengan memanipulasi hasil pencarian demi layanan perbandingan belanjanya sendiri, PriceRunner mengatakan dalam sebuah pernyataan email Senin.

Juru bicara Google Emily Clarke mengatakan kepada Bloomerberg bahwa perusahaan sedang menunggu untuk membela kasusnya di pengadilan.

"PriceRunner memilih untuk tidak menggunakan iklan belanja di Google, jadi mungkin tidak melihat kesuksesan yang sama seperti yang dimiliki orang lain" kata Clarke dalam komentar email.

PriceRunner yang berbasis di Stockholm, yang telah setuju untuk dibeli oleh Klarna Bank AB, mengharapkan kerusakan akhir dari gugatan itu akan "jauh lebih tinggi" karena pelanggaran masih berlangsung, menurut pernyataan itu.

Terakhir, raksasa teknologi AS itu mengatakan telah mengajukan tantangan terhadap putusan di Pengadilan Uni Eropa "Karena kami merasa ada area yang memerlukan klarifikasi hukum" dari hakim tertinggi blok tersebut.
